
Felicitas Lensing-Hebben
Biography
Born in 1951
as the youngest of 14 children on an estate in the Lower Rhine region,
Felicitas Lensing-Hebben initially pursued a different path before fully dedicating herself to art.
After completing high school and an apprenticeship, she worked as a pre-certified pharmacist for over fifteen years. However, a series of personal crises in mid-life led to a radical reorientation and an intense engagement with the arts
.
She studied at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld (Department of Design, specializing in Ceramic Design) under Prof. Dieter Crumbiegel and graduated in 1994.
Since 1989, she lived and worked as an independent artist in Düsseldorf, where she maintained her own studio. She passed away there in April 2022.
